Thank you for purchasing your new Torch Saver.
After determining where you want to install your Torch Saver, insure there is enough room above the Torch Saver to slip your torch in and out without hitting anything.
Now, you're ready to begin installation. First, hold the Torch Saver in place and ensure it is level. Place silver screw through top hole and screw it in place. If necessary, mark top hole, lay Torch Saver aside and predrill. Be sure not to drill the hole bigger than the inner diameter of the metal screw. Then replace Torch Saver and install screw.
Again, ensure Torch Saver is level. Next, hold clear tube between bottom holes and insert gold screw through bottom holes and tube. Install screw until snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN GOLD SCREW. If gold screw is tightened to much, it will make it difficult to slip your torch in and out of the Torch Saver. If necessary, mark bottom hole, swing Torch Saver out of way and predrill. Be sure not to drill the hole bigger than the inner diameter of the metal screw. Then replace Torch Saver and install screw.
If you are installing the Torch Saver onto a metal shelf, here are some alternative mounting ideas. As above, mark and drill the holes. Use a 10-24 X 4 inch screw for the bottom and a 10-24 X 1 inch screw for the top hole. Use 10-24 nuts and washers as needed on the back side of the shelf.
You can also place a 1 X 2 X 8 or 1 X 3 X 8 inch board on the back side of the shelf and use the screws provided with your Torch Saver. Hold the board in place as you tighten the screws. This will give the shelf extra stability.Need Help? Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
